If you have not yet decided, here are three reasons why you should apply for our bachelor programme in information security at HiG:
- We offer the only dedicated bachelor programme in information security in Norway. Other institutions offer you just a specialisation within a broad programme. At HiG you will study with twenty other students in your class who have information security as their focus. And students are very satisfied with their choice.
- Not only do we have about 70 bachelor students in our information security programme, we have two master programmes in information security (with specialisations in technology, digital forensics, and security management), and we offer a dedicated Ph.D. programme in information security. Our faculty is one of the largest information security research groups in Europe – you get access to the full breadth of the field.
- We regularly invite guest lecturers, take part in cool competitions, and work on relevant and challenging topics for the bachelor theses. After completing the bachelor programme, our students find a job, continue with a master in information security at HiG, or move on to other places for further education.
